Fred Bassett will be reading form his revised and expanded book, THE OLD STOIC FACES THE MIRROR: A LIFE IN POEMS, at Wild Hare Studio on Sunday, February 23, at 3:00. The event is free and open to the public. Fred will be reading selected poems from his boyhood experiences in Alabama to his elderhood experiences in Greenwood. His poems tend to be narrative driven and are easy to comprehend. The book will be for sale ($20.00), and light refreshment will be served following the reading.
